PageGroup is committed to Net-zero by 2050

In 2024, the SBTi verified our near and long-term Net-zero targets. In setting these targets we are demonstrating our support for the Paris Agreement goal of pursuing efforts to limit the global average template to increase to 1.5 degrees.

Near-term targets:

60% reduction in absolute Scope 1 & 2 GHG emissions by 2030 from a 2022 baseline year.

25% reduction in absolute Scope 3 emissions from purchased goods and services and business travel by 2030 from a 2022 baseline year.

Long-term, Net Zero target:

95% reduction in absolute Scope 1 & 2 GHG emissions by 2050 from a 2022 baseline year.

90% reduction in absolute Scope 3 emissions by 2050 from a 2022 baseline year.

Our plan to reduce emissions is focused on six key areas:

  • Renewable powered, efficient, and green offices.

  • Adopting electric vehicles (EV).

  • Reducing business travel.

  • Encouraging low carbon commuting and homeworking.

  • Transitioning to a low-carbon supply chain.

  • Raising awareness and changing behaviours.

Environmental Reporting

PageGroup calculates all relevant emissions in compliance with GHG Protocol and reports on its climate risks and opportunities in line with the Task Force for Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) framework.

Social

gender growth ineqalities

Our ambition to ‘Change a million lives’ recognises the role we play in driving positive social outcomes through creating employment opportunities. We also know that our People are our greatest asset, and employee satisfaction, safety and inclusion are paramount to our business.

Social Impact programmes

In 2020, we set a target to change one million lives in the decade to 2030. We change lives in two main ways:

1.Placing people into decent work. This is what we do day in and day out by placing candidates into Permanent and Temporary positions.

2.Opening doors to employment for people at a distance from the workforce or from underrepresented groups through our social impact programmes. Our Page employees share their recruitment and industry expertise to support people with developing the skills and confidence needed to find and secure employment. We partner with charities and schools to support a wide range of employability related activity, from workshops through to mentoring schemes.

In 2024, we launched a global partnership with Generation, a nonprofit organisation that supports adults of all ages to achieve economic mobility through sustainable employment. In our first 6 months working together, over 100 PageGroup employees from our LATAM region, the UK, France and Singapore volunteered their time to train and coach 600 Generation learners with employability skills.

See our 2024 Sustainability Spotlight for more details on our People, our Culture and Social Impact initiatives including case studies.
